Renegade started as a first generation street dancer in 1982 and in 1986 he started DJing. As and experienced DJ, he’s one of the main ones to play music in the biggest and most prestigious dance events across the globe including: UK BBoy Champs, IBE, Battle of the Year, R16 Korea, Freestyle Session, Juste Debout, Redbull BC One, EuroBattle, OutBreak, Silverback Open etc. He has had major influence on how the music is played at dance events around the world.

Renegade is the founder, coach and mentor of the UK’s national breaking champions, Soul Mavericks and Monsterz popping crew. His choreography for the Ballet Boyz was shown on BBC television. He also regularly attends events as a judge, advisor and a panel member. As one of the Red Bull’s opinion leaders he often tackles issues that affect the scene. He also was a livestream commentator on one of their flagship events, the Red Bull BC One, from 2012 to 2018.

Along with BBoy Storm, he was one of the architects of the Breaking judging system that was used at the Youth Olympic Games.
